What place for women in the rap industry? This is the question asked by Naomi Clément, journalist, DJ and author of this second book Rap women, published last October by Editions Leduc, in which she gives voice to nine female personalities among the most influential in the French rap world. She also reveals her journey, that of a music enthusiast who discovers that the musical genre with which she grew up has its gray areas, with an under-representation of female rappers still dominant in the music industry.By Camille Parsi
