An Australian for this nanny has been charged with more than 1,600 crimes in which he allegedly exploited 91 children sexually, the BBC reports. He also allegedly filmed the crimes and spread the content online. Police reportedly found 4,000 videos and images in his electronic equipment.
The man preyed on girls for 15 years at a dozen preschools in Australia. He is also said to have committed crimes in an unnamed country outside Australia.
The 45-year-old man was arrested in August 2022, and it has thus taken the police a year to unravel the case. The 87 Australian children who were allegedly exploited – some of whom are now adults – have been identified and their families contacted.
