We thought that Les Editions Albert René and Microids was crazy love for life, but it seems that there is infidelity in the air. In a press release sent by Nacon, we learn that a new Asterix & Obelix game is coming in the coming months. Her name ? Asterix & Obelix Heroes, scheduled for PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for the month of September 2023. It will be a card game with RPG mechanics in which the player will have to collect his heroes favorite Gauls to then prepare his attack against the Romans. A completely new concept for the license which allows you to vary the pleasures and change genre. It’s being developed by Jumpgate studio gameXcite, which is in charge, and it’s not the first time the company has worked with Nacon.
This new partnership between Nacon and Les Editions Albert René seems in any case delighted with the two entities, who are delighted to work together. “We are working closely with Jumpgate AB on different projects.
