A first find of 39 packages containing one kilogram of suspected cocaine was made north of Sydney on Friday. After that, another 85 packages of the same size have been found along an eight-mile stretch along the New South Wales coastline.
The police urge people to report any suspicious package, reads a statement from the chief of police Jason Weinstein.
“Detectives and specialists are currently combing beaches and coastlines for any remaining packages and are working behind the scenes to ensure we find those responsible,” the statement said.
