North Korea is now dealing with an undetected respiratory disease after the coronavirus. After the increase in the number of cases, a 5-day curfew was declared in the capital Pyongyang.
THE TYPE OF THE DISEASE IS NOT DETECTED
According to Yonhap’s report based on NK News, authorities announced that a curfew was imposed in the capital to prevent the increase in the number of cases.
The type of the disease has not yet been determined, but the residents of the capital were asked to measure their body temperature several times a day.
PEOPLE MADE FOOD STOCK
Local media reports stated that people in Pyongyang stocked up on food in case the 5-day curfew could be extended.
In North Korea, the first case of Kovid-19 was announced in May 2022, while in August, victory was declared against the epidemic.
The Pyongyang administration was accused of not transparently disclosing the number of cases and the number of deaths related to the epidemic.
