“My I from 2006 is fascinated”

When WoW started more than 20 years ago, many Warcraft fans were happy when they were able to play the MMORPG reasonably smoothly on their PC and with their internet management. The video now shows how much has happened since then.

What can be seen in the clip? The WoW player Miszkah has released a short video on Reddit in which he can be seen on how to play on the Laptop World of Warcraft during a flight. The descriptive text for the clip, which has now received more than 2,700 upvotes:

“Who would have thought that the free WiFi would one day be stable enough to play WoW at 30,000 feet? Truly, the future is now! ”

30,000 feet, that is the equivalent of almost 9,150 meters. Miszkah later added that during the approximately 5 -hour domestic flight from New York to San Francisco, he could actually recharge the sunken temple from WoW Classic without any major problems. There were only two connections during the entire flight.

This video tells a story from the WoW community:

Players from WoW creates something that many have set themselves as a goal – “there should be a title”

How does the community react to it? It remembers her own beginnings in WoW.

  • Inslees_philosopher_8 knows this (via Reddit): “On my last Delta flight, I played wow ~ 3 hours at a time without any problems, on my handheld PC, the MSI Claw 8. The future is now.”
  • Mutt-of-Munster writes on Reddit: “I think from 2006 that WoW Vanilla could hardly get on the family PC and is fascinated.”
  • Professional-Cold278 remembers Reddit: “A friend’s PC was so bad that every time he climbed a boat, the loading time took so long that the boat was already on the way back. He had about 1 second to jump off the boat or he got the loading screen again. ”
  • Amelaclya1 explains on Reddit: “I remember that I had to straighten my camera down and zoom in completely to walk through Ironforge.”
  • Comparable measures (put in the corner, do not look for action, zoom in fully) also had to carry out some healers in, for example, the Pechschwingenhort, so that Wow remained halfway playable when treated. Hach, Good Old Times. There is more nostalgia here: Player starts with WoW, immediately fulfills (almost) all clichés – community is proud of the offspring
