The morning of October 2nd, a bomb detonated in a residential area in Hässelby in Stockholm.
A total of eight townhouses were hit in the blast. Andrea Zellman woke up by a loud bang just before she got up.
– Suddenly my mother came into my room and said we had to get out of the house and that there had been an explosion, says Andrea.
The dream of a joint accommodation was blown up in small pieces
Andrea’s family bought the townhouse when she was a child, with the idea that the family would live next to her grandfather and aunt, who also lived in the same townhouse area.
That dream went up in smoke when all the houses were destroyed in the blast and made their three townhouses uninhabitable.
