Tesla CEO and new Twitter owner Elon Musk is urging American voters to vote Republican in Tuesday’s midterm elections.
“Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, so I recommend voting for a Republican Congress given that the presidency is Democratic,” Musk writes on Twitter to his 114 million followers.
Musk often comments on politics, but it has previously been relatively unclear where on the political scale he moves. In August, he wrote this on Twitter:
“To be clear, I support the left wing of the Republican Party and the right wing of the Democratic Party!”, according to Reuters.
