Calling all local musicians.
The County of Brant is looking for local performers as the Music in the Parks series returns this summer.
“One of the County of Brant’s favorite summer events is back,” said Arts, Culture and Heritage officer Kayla Cicman. “Gather across the county at some of our most picturesque parks. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the warm summer evenings amongst friends and neighbors with the sweet sounds of our local musicians.”
The outdoor performances are slated for each Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the following venues: the Walter Williams Amphitheater at Paris Lions Park on July 4 and August 1; King William Park in St. George on July 11 and August 8; Scotland Optimist Park on July 18 and August 15; and the outdoor patio at the new Cainsville Community Center on July 25 and August 22, 2023.
Local musicians interested in performing are encouraged to apply at brant.ca/MusicInTheParks by April 26.
