Turkish singer Senem Diyici is performing at the Au Fil des Voix festival on January 30 in Paris. After 10 years of silence, she will present her new album, nara, which has just been released. At the end of the 1980s, she had established herself in France as one of the most singular voices of the worldmusic, magically marrying traditional Turkish music carried by his voice to the improvisations and experimentations of the most contemporary French jazz scene. With the release of naraan album composed during the pandemic between Izmir and Istanbul, Senem Diyici is back in France at almost 70 years old.
