The evening starts in the long corridors of the AZC. Initiator Jonás Bisquert walks door to door playing the guitar with a few fellow musicians to get people excited to join in or just listen. He has been organizing the music evenings for more than 10 years. “I am a musician myself, I teach at the conservatory, but what I learn here I don’t get anywhere. It is really very special, songs, new rhythms, new melodies, new harmonies, that is very interesting as a musician. There are many sides to the music and in doing so you also help someone who lives here who can only wait and who has to prove that he is also taking something with him that is very valuable.
