Horace Andy has been a living legend of reggae since the 1970s. A visionary artist from sound systems in Kingston, Jamaica, he is also the precursor and instigator of musical movements such as dub and dancehall. The singer, now in his seventies, made history with timeless hits and now has more than 35 albums to his credit.
Countless famous musicians, from Joe Strummer (The Clash) to Pierpoljak, have used his unique and inimitable vocal vibrato. But it was his collaboration with the English trip hop group Massive Attack that made him a global icon, acclaimed by just about the entire planet.
