Anne Paceo, 37, drummer and composer, is one of the major artists on the current jazz scene. She has played alongside the greatest, from Archie Shepp to Michel Legrand via Rhoda Scott. As a composer, she returns today with an album entitled SHAMANESfrom the name of this very ancient practice in which the living attempt to communicate with the Beyond.
