Music: a “Carnival of animals” revisited in an Afro version

Spotlight today on a new version of the famous Animal Carnival by Camille Saint-Saens. A symphonic musical work that has charmed young and old since its creation a century and a half ago. It is presented on African rhythms. Its title:Afro Carnival of Animals. The arrangements are inspired by Congolese rumba, Nigerian Afrobeat, soukouss and Beninese salsa. It is a show to discover on stage, but which is also the subject of a book-disc which has just been published.
