The dangerous disease of mule and clover disease has been detected in a larger crew dairy cows in Hungary, says the State Veterinary Institute (SVA) in a press release.

The Hungarian authorities have taken measures to fight the infection and reduce the risk of infection.

It is still unknown how the cows have been infected.

Over the past three months, there are no registered movements of animals that are susceptible to the disease from Hungary to Sweden, according to SVA.

In January this year, three cases of the disease were found in water buffalo in Germany.

Musp and clover disease is a serious and infectious viral disease that does not affect humans but split animals such as cows, pigs and sheep as well as wild split-bearing animals.
