A 16-year-old boy, suspected of the murder of a peer in Örkelljunga over the weekend, is wanted in custody. The prosecutor believes that there are probable reasons to believe that the boy was guilty of the crime.
The police were alerted to a disturbance shortly after midnight on Sunday night. A boy was taken to hospital with stab or cut injuries, but his life could not be saved.
Soon after the murder, the 16-year-old, who is from the area, could be arrested on suspicion of the crime. Initially, another teenager was arrested, but he has been released at large.
