Multiversus has opened its doors to players for a closed beta that is already breaking attendance records. We explain how to join it.
[Mis à jour le 26 juillet 2022 à 12h10] Would you like a free fighting game bringing together all your favorite characters? Warner Bros Games is making an ambitious bet with the upcoming release of Multiversus, a crossover and multiplatform fighting game that will bring together characters from the Warner, DC Comics, HBO and Cartoon Network universes. The cinema giant intends to shake up Nintendo and its famous Super Smash Bros license with this platformer-castle planned for 2022. The news of the day is that Multiversus has entered its open beta, offering some lucky people to join its phase test in early access from this Tuesday, July 26. All players will be able to access it from tonight at 6 p.m. We explain how to join the Multiversus beta now.
Buy a Founder’s Pack
Whether you’re a fan of DC Comics, Scooby Doo, Game of Thrones, Lebron James or the Looney Toons, Multiversus has something to grab your attention, there’s no doubt about it. If you want to join the open beta phase of the game which begins this Tuesday, July 26, you will have two options available to you. The first, and the simplest, is to become one of the founding members of the game by purchasing a founder’s pack on the site of Multiverse. Indeed, Multiversus will be completely free-to-play as soon as it is released, but offers voluntary players the opportunity to buy founders’ packs to benefit from various in-game advantages (exclusive banners, virtual currency, characters to unlock, etc.) but also early access to its open beta. Founder Packs come in three flavors:
- Standard (€39.99): Early Access to Open Beta, 300 Gleamium, 1 Banner, 15 Character Tokens
- Deluxe (€59.99): Early Access to Open Beta, 1000 Gleamium, 1 Banner, Cosmetics, 1 Battle Pass, 20 Character Tokens
- Premium (€99.99): Early Access to Open Beta, 2500 Gleamium, 1 Nameplate, Cosmetics, 3 Battle Pass, 30 Character Tokens
Benefit from Twitch drops (available until July 26 at 6 p.m.)
The second method to join the Multiversus open beta is completely free, but a little more complex. To do this, you will need an account Twitch and an account Warner Bros Games. Then follow the steps below:
- Go to the Twitch drops page of Multiverse
- bind your Twitch account and your Warner account
- Watch a streamer play Multiversus on Twitch for 60 minutes
- Check your Twitch rewards to find your open beta early access
Wait for Tuesday, July 26 at 6 p.m.
A very valid method. Multiversus Beta Early Access Ends This Tuesday, July 26 at 6 p.m.giving way to a beta open to all players.
Multiversus was originally planned for July 2022. The game’s open beta has just started its early access, and players can access it through the various methods explained above. But what about those who just want to wait for its release date? Well know that Multiversus will officially be released after the end of this beta period, ie in the next few days. You can also test it from the start of its open beta on July 26 at 6 p.m.. The game will be available on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
For the first time in the history of fighting games, we will be able to embody our favorite characters from comics, cartoons and TV shows at the same time. If Super Smash Bros can boast of bringing together characters from all the Nintendo, SEGA, and Capcom universes, Multiversus does not have to be ashamed of the diversity of its characters. The game already includes 16 playable avatars, from different universes belonging to Warner Bros, Cartoon Network or HBO. We can therefore already find Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn, Vera, Taz, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark, the Iron Giant, Sam and many others. You can check out the full Multiversus current roster page here.
