The east bound lanes of Highway 403 between Garden Avenue and Highway 52 are closed following multiple collisions.
Sgt. Ed Sanchuk of the OPP said on social media that the west bound lanes of Highway 403 will also be closed periodically to help remove damaged vehicles as a result of the collision.

The OPP is advising motorists of the highway closure and encouraging motorists to find alternative routes while the clean-up continues.
Sanchuk is also advising motorists to slow down during inclement weather.
