On Friday afternoon, Chatham-Kent police were dispatched to a trespassing complaint at a retail store in Chatham.
A male suspect was located during a traffic stop and cautioned. The vehicle contained several other people, including a 32-year-old man wanted by the police.
This man allegedly attempted to conceal his identity by providing a false name, but he was identified. A search following his arrest yielded suspected stolen property, police added.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing facing charges of failing to comply with a release order, obstructing police and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Failure to wait short
In a 24-hour period, a 41-year-old Wallaceburg man, 39-year-old Chatham man and 41-year-old Wallaceburg woman were arrested for reportedly failing to attend court.
The warrants in these matters did not yield new charges, police said. All parties were released with a short date.

Police located a 41-year-old Tilbury woman on Friday evening with an outstanding warrant.
The warrant was for one count of mischief under $5,000, police said. She was taken to headquarters and released with a short date.
