On the A27 in the direction of Gorinchem there was more than an hour of traffic jam. Rijkswaterstaat advised road users to postpone their journey. The road was released again around 6.30 pm. It was also busy on the subsequent A28, where the delay at the peak was about 45 minutes in both directions.
