The owners of the controversial Karlshamnsverket made a profit of SEK 297 million last year according to the company’s annual report, reports P4 Blekinge. In total, the company consumed around 30,000 tons of oil and produced 110 gigawatt hours, Sydkraft Thermal Power states in the annual report.
As the energy crisis has worsened, the Karlshamnsverket has been operating to an increasing extent and it was recently announced that carbon dioxide emissions this year are expected to be higher than last year’s 90,000 tonnes.
