“It’s an exciting new chapter in the Axel Arigato story to launch a collaboration of this scale with a long-established brand like Mulberry. Our aim is to bring the youthful, punchy energy that infuses our designs by reinterpreting the heritage silhouettes of Mulberry, through the unique Scandinavian vision”said Max Svardh, co-founder of Axel Arigato. Ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes or even accessories… The collection is punctuated by 35 spring pieces and is inspired by Mulberry’s icons, such as leather bags. Oversized Bayswater, Maddison And Westbourne, as modern creations by Axel Arigato. If the it bags are made in the United Kingdom in the Mulberry factories, the shoes are made in Portugal and combine leather and recycled polyester. Axel Arigato, the label that is establishing itself internationally
Founded in 2014 by Max Svardh And Albin Johansson, the Swedish brand Axel Arigato has made it its mission to bring all fashion fans together around its sharp and timeless creations. In a few years, it is a success, since the brand has, less than 10 years after its creation, 17 shops and corners around the world. Within France, the label has opened a boutique in the Parisian Marais and is also present at Galeries Lafayette.
In 2022, Axel Arigato also collaborated with the French artist Andrew. Together, they revisited the brand’s classics, two-tone teddies, sweatshirts and sneakers, on which the graffiti artist drew his famous mocking man. A cult collection!
