This device, powered by Intel’s Meteor Lake processor, will be equipped with a high-performance CPU called Core Ultra 7 155H SKU. This processor will have twice as many cores and threads as the Ryzen Z1 Extreme and will enable the device to deliver a powerful performance.

However, among handheld console manufacturers, Intel’s hybrid P-CORE/E-core technology had not yet gained widespread attention. The reason for this is stated to be the poor graphics performance of this architecture. However, this seems to be changing with Intel’s Core Ultra 100H series. The system will feature two LP cores, eight E cores and six P cores. The integrated Arc Alchemist architecture will feature integrated graphics powered by eight Xe-Cores that can go up to 2.25 GHz.

This new handset from MSI will support up to 32 GB of memory, which means twice as much memory as similar devices in the market. Additionally, MSI plans to offer various configurations for different user needs. According to preliminary tests, Intel’s Arc Xe-LPG graphics perform better than AMD’s integrated RDNA3 graphics, creating a competitive field for Intel to improve its drivers.
