A soldier who was injured by pressing a hand-made explosive device (EYP) in the Metina region of northern Iraq was martyred.
In the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that Specialist Sergeant Tunahan Erbaşı in the Metina region of northern Iraq was injured by pressing the EYP and was transferred to the hospital.

The bitter news of Specialist Sergeant Tunahan Erbaşı was given to Zeynep and Salih Erbaşı couple, who live in Agacören district of Aksaray, his hometown. While the Turkish flag was hung on the martyr’s house, the relatives who heard the news came to offer their condolences. It was stated that Erbaşı, who was learned that he joined the army 2 years ago, has 4 siblings.
The funeral of Martyr Erbaşı will be buried tomorrow after the ceremony to be held in Ağaçören district.
