Mr Paddington receives a passport from the British Home Office

It is an official document, but the bear cannot use it as a real passport.

Mr. Paddington is given a UK passport. The producer of the upcoming Paddington adventure movie told about it Rob Silva British newspaper Radio Times in the interview.

The filmmakers requested a passport for Paddington from the British Home Office so that it could be used as a prop in the film.

The request asked for a copy of the passport, but instead they were given the official version.

According to Silva, Paddington is officially marked as a bear in the passport.

– You wouldn’t think that the Ministry of the Interior would have a sense of humor, says Silva.

However, the British Home Office is told the BBCthat although it is an official document, it does not correspond to a real passport.

Paddington travels to Peru

Series and movies have been made based on the books, in the latest of which Paddington travels from Great Britain to Peru in search of his relatives. So there will be a need for a passport.

Paddington Adventures premieres in Finland on January 24, 2025.
