(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena and COG (formerly Consorzio Operativo Gruppo Montepaschi), in execution of the resolutions passed on 10 November 2022, respectively by the Board of Directors of BMPS and by the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of COG, entered into the deed of merger by incorporation into BMPS of COG, a wholly-owned controlled by the Sienese banking group.
The deed – reads a note – was filed with the Arezzo-Siena Register of Companies.
The statutory effects of the Merger will start from 5 December 2022 and the accounting and tax effects from 1 January 2022.
