(Finance) – The Board of Directors of Banca Monte Paschi Sienameeting today in Siena, under the chairmanship of Nicola Maione, at the request of the independent directors, unanimously designated – with the abstention of the interested party – the independent Director Paola De Martini, as Lead Independent Director of the Bank.
The Lead Independent Director, as stated in a note, will remain in office until the expiry of the current Board of Directors of BMPS and therefore until the Shareholders’ Meeting which will be called for the approval of the financial statements as at 31 December 2025.
