MPS Fabi historic agreement rewards for employees again

(Finance) – Fabi has announced a “historical agreement” into Bank Monte dei Paschi di Sienasince – after a stop of about 10 years – a return is paid company bonus to employees of 500 euros which can be used as cash or in a welfare account. We also return to talk about professional growth and promotions, after the more than 4,125 departures envisaged by the agreement of 4 August 2022.

According to a note from the Autonomous Italian Banking Federation, the unions have obtained – in line with the provisions of second-level bargaining – the recognition of career paths with the aim of ensuring the best coverage of the roles. Furthermore, from 2024 the adaptation of professional progressions resumes, according to the provisions of the company contract.

Finally, it was obtained the commitment to address the issue of recruitmentalready from the first days of September, with the aim of intervening in a short time to an initial coverage of the workforce needs of various territories, after the impressive exodus of 4,125 workers made last December.

“The colleagues at Montepaschi made sacrifices, they had the right to return to normalcy and be rewarded. So it was: with the agreements signed today, the bonuses are back, professional growth starts again, in short, we are restarting all the supplementary contracts, including some conditions for employees. It is a historical fact and it is even more so if we consider that in September we will start negotiations with the bank to define new hires aimed at an important generational turnover, as envisaged by the agreement on voluntary exits last year”, commented the Fabi national and administrative secretary and Fabi coordinator in Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Franco Casini.
