The Environmental Party in Gothenburg supports Janine Alm Ericson as the next female spokesperson for the party. It is clear after a hearing of the three candidates Alm Ericson, Amanda Lind and Annika Hirvonen at a member’s meeting on Sunday.
Most members preferred Janine Alm Ericson, who is today the Green Party’s economic policy spokesperson.
“Janine is a strong and clear politician, with solid political experience. During her years as a Riksdag politician, she has made a big difference and has been an important green voice,” says Jonas Svensson, chairman of the Gothenburg Green Party, in a press release.
The choice of who will be the next female spokesperson and new colleague to the male spokesperson Daniel Helldén will be decided on April 28 at a digital extra congress.
