Moussa Dadis Camaras lawyer tries the strategy of repetition

At the September 28 massacre trial, the pleadings phase lasts longer than expected. Already called to the stand last week, Maître Jocamey Haba, the lawyer for the former head of the junta and main accused, Moussa Dadis Camara, returned to court today. His strategy is repetition.

He decided to take over the entire case before the Dixinn criminal court, with a leitmotif: to prove the innocence of President Moussa Dadis Camara. “ Moussa Dadis Camara is referred to this criminal court on eight counts. I say eight counts. Maître Jocamey Haba details them all. None of the charges that I have just cited against President Daddis are made up because we have heard nothing of complicity. Of murder and assassination. We have never heard of complicity, kidnapping, torture and kidnapping. We have never heard of complicity in armed robbery. »

At the helm, the hours pass. Maître Jocamey Haba does not hesitate to repeat himself. The lawyer opted for the strategy of bludgeoning. He still has not finished his plea and must return to the stand tomorrow for the third time. The president of the court had announced his desire to see this trial end before the judicial recess in August. Nothing is less sure.
