Mourinho saw red as Roma fell to the bottom team

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The coach profile José Mourinho talked himself into a red card – incidentally his third expulsion this season – and the match itself the big club lost 1-2 after the home team decided on penalties with barely ten minutes left to play.

The victory was Cremonese’s first of the season and the three points means that the team lifts from the jumbo place in the table. However, the distance to Spezia on safe ground is still long, a full eight points.

With the loss, Roma lose ground in the top fight in Serie A. At the moment, Mourinho’s team is first in fifth place in the table, one point behind arch-rivals Lazio, who park in the last Champions League spot.

On Sunday, Roma face Juventus at home at the Olympic Stadium. Mourinho gets to watch that match from the stands.
