It was at 5.40 pm that a police patrol tried to check a car on the E4 at the height of Notviken in Luleå. The driver chose not to stop, and the police followed the car.
At the height of Heden, the car stop, but the driver then ran from the car. The police caught up and a man in his 25s was taken into custody for a body search.
The man is now suspected of gross illegal driving, gross negligence in traffic, and gross drunk driving.
