A motorist has died following a collision Friday night south of Sarnia, Lambton OPP say.
The single-car crash took place shortly before 11 am on Petrolia Line.
“The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said Saturday afternoon in a statement. “The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.”
Lambton provincial police and paramedics along with St. Clair Township firefighters were called to the scene. Petrolia Line was closed between Tecumseh Road and Kimball Road for the investigation but has since reopened, police said.
