Norfolk OPP, fire and paramedic services responded at about 12:43 pm on Tuesday to a collision on Cockshutt Road just north of Concession 6 Woodhouse in Renton.
Police say a pickup truck and motorcycle were involved in the collision.
“The motorcycle operator has been airlifted to a trauma center by Ornge with serious, life-altering injuries,” said PC Andrew Gamble. “The OPP would like to thank the many members of the public who jumped in to provide assistance. Your life-saving efforts no doubt played a role in saving someone’s life today.”
Cockshutt Road between Highway 3 and Concession 6 Woodhouse was closed for several hours for an investigation.
