A man in his 40s was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident when he drove off a minor road outside Gnesta and ended up out in a field. The man, who among other things complained of pain in the chest, was rushed to hospital.
– He drove off the road which was very curvy at that particular place, and it probably went too fast, says Lars Göran-Nilseryd, officer on duty at the police.
The accident occurred at 12 o’clock on Sunday and the traffic on road 830 west of Gnesta was strongly affected. Later in the afternoon, the police announced that the traffic was flowing as usual again.
– We have seized the motorcycle and will investigate the incident. We have no information that anyone else was involved in the accident, says Lars-Göran Nilseryd.
