A motorcyclist was killed in a collision near Waterford early Friday night.
Norfolk OPP say a motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Cockshutt Road when the driver collided with a pickup truck on Thompson Road East.
Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene at just before 7 pm
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
The truck driver was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and was transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The investigation is continuing.
The intersection of Cockshutt Road and Thompson Road East is expected to be closed for several hours.
