A motorcyclist was injured in a collision on Fourteenth Street in Simcoe early Thursday evening.
The motorcycle and a pickup truck were eastbound on the road at just after 6 pm when the motorcycle was struck from behind, said Norfolk OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk on social media.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Alcohol is being considered as a contributing factor in the crash, Sanchuk said.
Fourteenth Street between Highway 24 and Park Road are expected to be closed for a couple hours for the investigation, Sanchuk said at about 8 pm
