One person died and two were injured in the shooting in Vantaa, Finland.

The motive behind yesterday’s school shooting in Finland has been clarified by the police.

It has turned out to be bullying as the motive, writes the Finnish police in a press release.

The suspected perpetrator has said in questioning that he was subjected to bullying, something that has also been confirmed in the police’s preliminary investigation.

The boy, who is 12 years old, moved to the school at the beginning of this year.

The weapon that the boy allegedly used belongs to a close relative, according to the police. The case with the weapon is being investigated as a separate crime.
