Chaillol Festival musical roaming in the Hautes Alpes

At the end of the Avignon festival, Ukrainian refugees are on the front of the stage with a reading of Mothers, A Song of Wartime, in French “Mothers, song of a time of war”. A performance by Polish playwright Marta Górnicka. It is a choral piece based on the testimonies of Ukrainian and Belarusian exiles. The piece will be presented next year but the new director of the festival has decided, in the urgency of the news, to present a reading of it. Tanita Fallet followed the rehearsals…
