At the end of the Avignon festival, Ukrainian refugees are on the front of the stage with a reading of Mothers, A Song of Wartime, in French “Mothers, song of a time of war”. A performance by Polish playwright Marta Górnicka. It is a choral piece based on the testimonies of Ukrainian and Belarusian exiles.
