The woman is said to have given the child medication such as insulin and anti-anxiety medication several times. According to the indictment, she also introduced bacteria to the child either by contaminating driveways or by injecting contaminants into the driveways.

The child, who is of preschool age, suffered from life-threatening sepsis and multi-organ failure, and according to the indictment, it is only because of the care that the crimes were not completed.
The crimes are said to have been committed in various places in Sweden over a long period of time, including in Härnösand, Sundsvall and Stockholm.
