Mother detained for murder of children in Vallentuna

A woman has been detained on probable cause on suspicion of murder and attempted murder after the violent act in Vallentuna where a child was killed and a child was seriously injured. The suspected crimes were committed in a terraced house on Friday morning.

According to prosecutor Peter Claesson, the woman is the mother of the children.

– The children are siblings and the suspect is the children’s mother, he says.

Both children are under 15 years of age.

Otherwise, Peter Claesson is tight-lipped about the investigation.

– We want to sort this out properly first, he says.
