On Sunday, a major hacker attack was directed against several Swedish authorities and large companies. It is about an overload attack that went on and off throughout the day.
Who is behind it is unclear, but experts point to Russia.
– As we see it, it is a Russian actor who calls himself Anonymous Sudan and they are part of a network of other Russian actors who work a lot with anti-NATO agenda, says security expert Marcus Murray.

Kronofogden, Vattenfall, MSB and Kivra were among those affected on Sunday. Carl-Oskar Bohlin (M), Minister for Civil Defense, views the attacks seriously.
– This is the most extensive overload attack that we have seen so far and what is gratifying in this context is that the authorities and companies that are affected have had a lot of proactive work and have been able to get their websites up in a very short time, he says.
Anonymous Sudan has its own Telegram channel where they point out what will be attacked next. When TV4 Nyheterna watches, the hacker network describes Stockholm’s local traffic as the next target.
