News24 has previously reported on a type of accident that has increased by 50 percent since 2015. According to M Sweden, nine people died in wildlife accidents in 2023.
– Even non-fatal wildlife accidents are dangerous because a larger percentage of injured people do not return to a normal life compared to normal traffic accidents, said the association’s traffic expert Tony Gunnarssonto Nyheter24 then.

Now Nyheter24 has come into contact with Tove Sporreanalyst at the Swedish Police Agency, to find out which traffic offense is the most common.
– The number of traffic offenses and traffic offenses is entirely dependent on what the police choose to spend their resources on and how much traffic activities the police choose to do, says Sporre, and continues:
– It is not crimes that are reported in the usual way, but it is the police who discover these crimes through their traffic work.
However, the crime that was most reported is a crime that is often reported by private individuals, instead of the police themselves.

In 2023, the most reported traffic offense was hit-and-run in the event of parking damage, that is, when someone damages a parked vehicle and then runs away from the scene.
The crime was reported a total of 59,523 times last year, which can be compared with drunk driving which was the second most reported and had 22,013 reports.
