The Iranian president hails an “important strategic step” in cooperation with Russia. Tehran and Moscow on Wednesday signed an agreement for the construction of a railway line in Iran. This is part of a much more ambitious 20-year-old project led by Russia: the construction of a 7,200 km network of trade routes with Iran and India.
