Ed Boon from NetherRealm Studios shared on the X platform today that July 23, 2024 Mortal Kombat 1 will join the staff of Takeda TakahashiPicture of gameplay trailer published.
Mortal Kombat 1 Takeda Gameplay Trailer Details
Boon first teased Takeda, the latest Kombat Pack 1 fighter, weeks ago. Fans will be able to play the character in Early Access on July 23. You can gain early access by purchasing Mortal Kombat 1’s Kombat Pack or Premium Edition.
The gameplay trailer released today showed some of Takeda’s moves, dialogue, and brutal fatality using his signature weapons. Takeda will be released in Early Access on July 23, with the full release expected to follow a week later. Homelander was the last addition to Mortal Kombat 1. Homelander followed suit with an Early Access release on June 4 and a full release on June 11, 2024.
Fans will recognize Takeda Takahashi from his appearance in Mortal Kombat X. Takeda will also be playable at EVO 2024. Although the developers had planned to release the Ferra cameo last month, the delayed cameo will finally be released alongside Takeda next week.
