The association has struggled with a weak economy for a long time. Ahead of this season, they chose to lower ticket prices – but the effect has not been there.
– We were quite late in lowering entrance prices, when we saw that sales were too bad. Unfortunately, there were several who did not jump on even when we lowered, says chairman Anders Gustavsson to Blekingesport.
Poor attendance figures have meant reduced revenue, which was the basis for the decision to ask their supporters for financial help.
