Morocco will face Angola and Mauritania in friendlies in March

The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) revealed this Saturday February 17 the next two opponents of the Atlas Lions, who will face Angola (Friday March 22 at 8 p.m. local time) and Mauritania (Tuesday March 26 at 8 p.m. local time ) in friendly matches at the Grand Stade d’Agadir. Two selections which could provide a tough time for the Moroccan selection, since Angola reached the quarter-finals of the last African Cup of Nations while Mauritania reached for the first time in its history the round of 16 of the competition after his exploit against Algeria (1-0). These two confrontations will be an opportunity to relaunch for Walid Regragui’s players, who remain on an early elimination in the round of 16 of the CAN against South Africa (2-0), and above all to prepare for the next events. 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Zambia and Congo next June.
