School cordoned off – suspected dangerous object found

During the night of Friday, the police received an alarm about a suspicious object in Skälby in Västerås.

The National Bomb Squad and several police patrols arrived at the scene. They cordoned off a larger area, in the area there were, among other things, parts of a school. A number of residents in the area were housed.

Explosion outside house: “Most windows smashed”

During the morning, a hand grenade exploded outside a house in Angered in north-east Gothenburg. The property was damaged and several windows were broken.

Two adults and three children were in the house, but no one is said to be physically injured.

During the night, another explosion occurred in Partille outside Gothenburg. The police are currently investigating whether there is a connection between the detonations.

Several cars are on fire – suspected arson

During the night, several cars burned in the harbor in Malmö. The police received an alert about a fire in a bush on Tärnögatan.

When the police arrived at the scene, it appeared that several cars were in flames. The cars were inside a business area.

The fire is suspected to be arson.
