SMHI warns of new thunderstorms

During Thursday evening, several people were struck by lightning on a soccer field in Lidingö outside Stockholm. Eight people were taken to hospital at the incident and two were said to be unconscious.

Now SMHI warns that another thunderstorm is on the way.

Skeletal parts found in the ground

During excavation work in Borlänge municipality, parts of a skeleton have been found. The police will now investigate the discovery site and take other investigative measures.

Explosion outside restaurant

On the night of Friday, there was an explosion outside a restaurant in central Malmö. After the explosion, a suspicious object was found in the vicinity of the restaurant, which the National Bomb Squad defused at 04:30.
